Daily dog walks are a great way for your dog to expend energy and get fresh air while you're away. We enjoy the one-on-one connection made between human and dog while on a walk. We also firmly believe that positive loving energy from the human is directly sensed from the dog while we are together for any length of time. Dog walks start at your home and we head out into your neighborhood to enjoy all of the sights, smells, sounds and beauty of nature, rain or shine, before returning home. Dogs require physical and mental stimulation just like humans do. If proper exercise is provided on a daily basis, it will energize their body, mind and spirit. Many dog behavioral problems are the result of isolation, boredom and insufficient exercise. Shake a Leg's programs are a great service for your dog when you can't be around to exercise and play.
Daily Dog Walking
We come to your home so your dog can stay comfortable in his or her own surroundings. Your dog is given a bathroom break, walk around neighborhood, food and water, playtime, medicine if needed, natural & organic treats and plenty of love and attention during the visit.

Puppy & Cat Care
Puppy Care: We know that puppies need extra care: extra time, extra exercise, extra playtime, and lots of attention. We will reinforce basic training commands during our visits (sit, stay, come, leave it) and ensure all accidents are cleaned up.
Cat Care: We love our cats and kittens! Besides daily litter change, food, water, your cat(s) will receive lots of love, cuddles and play time.

Vacation Pet Sitting
** We are just about booked for April 5th to 14th for Spring Break**
We are now accepting Summer Vacation clients!!
We come to your home for at least 3 daily visits, morning, afternoon and evening. You can customize the number of visits and the length of time per visit, (see below). A gentle neck and shoulder massage is given with brushing and herbal organic freshening spray/wipes (if you and the dog allow). Each day we will let your dog out for a potty break, a walk, playtime and feeding. This is a great way to keep your dog stress free in his or her own surroundings while you're away. Please allow a notice of at least a month (2 to 3 months in advance for the summer months).
Rates
CUSTOMIZE your dog/cat vacation experience by choosing the number of visits and the length of time (20 or 30 min) at each visit. Each 20 min visit rate is $20 and each 30 min visit is $25. ** We do not offer overnight care where we stay in your home overnight. **
Example: If you would like three 20 min visits per day, the rate will be $60 for the day, if you would like two 20 min visits and one 30 min then the per day rate will be $65. If you would like three 30 min visits per day, then the total would be $75 per day. You can also add a 4th visit if you would like.
Typical visit times are mornings between 7a/8a…afternoons between 2p/4p and evenings between 8/9p. If you choose 4 visits per day, it would be something like: mornings 7/8a…early afternoon 12/1p…late afternoon 4/5p..evening between 8/9p.
** Don’t forget—NO additional charge for more than one dog**
Note: If there is a cat visit in combination with a Vacation Dog Sit, there may be an additional fee for the cat/s depending on the needs.

Additional Information
Holiday Visits
Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, New Years Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day $10 additional per day - availability is limited.
Other Services Provided
Water plants (indoor or outdoor), take in mail, switch lights on/off, take out garbage bins (all are complimentary with any dog walking or pet service, but large flower and vegetable gardens rates may apply).
Fish, mice, hamsters, farm animals and bird care available. Call for rates.
CHICKEN CARE: We will visit your chickens to take an overall look at them and make sure they look healthy. We will give them fresh food and water, treats, light cleaning of their coop and collect their eggs. They must be in an enclosed run and be able to go in and out of the coop on their own at night/morning. $20 per 20 min visit or $25 per 30 min visit. If chicken care is needed during a dog or cat visit, then rate will depend on the needs.

Daily Dog Walking/Visits:
MONDAY-FRIDAY: As of January 2024, we currently have availability for daily dog walking Monday through Friday in the towns of Hebron/Amston and Marlborough. Please email (shakefour@yahoo.com) or call/text (860-368-9125) to discuss particular days and time frames that you would like your dog walked.
VACATION PET SITTING:
Since we book up quick for vacation pet sitting (especially whenever the kids are out of school and holiday times) we strongly suggest you book your time with us at least a month or two prior to your planed vacation.

We are NOT AVAILABLE to do OVERNIGHT pet sitting (spending the night in your home), but we do visit your pet typically 3 times a day, morning, afternoon and evening and additional visits if you would like.
NEW CLIENTS:
Please plan at least a month (2 to 3 months if booking for the summer) notice to book us for your vacation. Then we can meet about a week or so before your vacation for an initial consultation. If you are a new client, please allow at least 1 week before your vacation for us to come to your home and meet you and your pet/s. We will get to know you, collect information on your pets’ habits and behaviors as well as some general logistic information.
